During this follow-up course of 1 day the basic features are further elaborated and participants are trained in more demanding cases in the area of managing information, decision making processes, knowledge management and program and project management. The Advanced User training can only be attended after the Fundamentals User training. This training is based on the concept of ‘learning by doing’ and follows the official Mindjet® MindManager Manual part 2 and 3.
After the training the users will be able to:
- more on the basic features and how you can make smart use of the advanced features;
- Use basic and advanced functions in more demanding cases
- Use links to MS Outlook and Excel
- Use Map Templates, Map Styles, Topic Styles, Smart maps and Map Marker lists
- Build management maps and use the power select function
- Visualize processes in MindManager and link steps to documents, checklists, server files, internal and external sites
- Use MindManager for electronic assisted brainstorming, decision making processes and executing the action plans
- Use MindManager for advanced presentations and reporting with exports to PDF, MS Word, Visio, Project, Powerpoint en HTML
- Build a team information and knowledge dashboard
- Use add-ins for other means of visualization (matrix, Gantt chart, time sheets)
- Use MindManager to start up and manage projects and programs
- Use MindManager for knowledge management
- Use MindManager for on-line mapping
Also, the basic options in the field of knowledge management, time management, strategy and execution, and account management will be discussed.
In this, handy add-ins will be discussed that, for example, make an HTML matrix (e.g. for Balanced Score Card projects), a 'What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) HTML website from your mind map, or how you automatically generate tally planning or to-do lists in Excel.
